Speech and language therapy
A speech language pathologist is a master's degree level educated clinician who is able to assess speech, swallowing, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders. A speech language pathologist will make recommendations for treatment which may include 1:1 therapy, other referrals to other specialties, parent coaching, a home program or other alternative forms of treatment. A communication disorders assistant, or CDA, may provide the therapy, under the supervision of the speech pathologist.
Behaviour Support
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a highly trained masters-level professional specializing in applied behavior analysis (ABA). BCBAs assess behaviors, create evidence-based intervention plans, and collaborate with families and support teams to improve communication, social skills, and independence. They work with individuals of all ages, often focusing on those with autism or developmental disabilities, to promote meaningful, lasting change in everyday life.
Speech and language treatment (articulation, speech, voice, fluency, early language)
Our Certified Speech-Language Assistants (CDAs) provide high-quality therapy for children working on articulation, speech sound development, and other general speech needs. Under Monica’s supervision, they follow individualized treatment plans to support your child’s progress. If your child primarily needs articulation therapy or general speech support, they will be seen by one of our skilled CDAs.
